Our Team.
One of the things that is special and different at Amani Place from all other Adult Family Homes in Spokane is our team leadership approach. We have a large staff from Facility Leaders, Resident Specialists, Administrators and Caregivers. And our staff works together with our clinical partners, which encompasses everyone from nurses, registered dietitcians, PTs, OTs, podiatrists, behavior specialists and social workers. We have licensed professional caregivers assisting in all our residents’ needs 24/7.
Fred Amusavi
Business Leader
Fred has over 14 years in the Senior Care industry. Fred fell in love with this career when he first moved to Spokane from Kenya. He quickly became a Manager of a family friend's Adult Family Home and we are excited to have him here at Amani Place as our Business Manager and Staff Leader. Fred is a Christ follower who wants to bless people while they are here on earth.
Fred also holds a degree in Information Technology from Kenya and loves to spend all his time with his wife Kelsey.
Kelsey Amusavi
Resident Care Leader
Kelsey has over 18 years of experience in the senior care setting. She started out right out of high school to help put herself through college. Kelsey received her degree in Organizational Leadership & Management and decided to put her two loves, of caring for others and her leadership to work. We are excited to have Kelsey as our Resident Care Leader, overseeing the leaders at Amani Place and our partners.
Kelsey is also a Christ follower where her first ministry is Fred, her 5 children and family.
Tana Shea
Administrator
Tana is and has been a wife to a Godly man (Tim) for the last 34 years and they have known each other for 37. They have four children (three girls & one boy) and seven grandchildren (two girls and five boys). They currently reside in our 42 ft. 5th Wheel in Yachats, Oregon, right on the BEAUTIFUL PACIFIC OCEAN!!!
Tana says "I love working with Amani Place as it provides a quality of care that I pray I’ll receive when needed." In her spare time, she is helping to develop a healing program with Kelsey’s mom, and some other God-loving women!!
